Installation was fairly simple, though as you'd expect, it took some time to get it adjusted just right. At first I had some problems with the throttle sticking, but I followed the troubleshooting steps, and it works very well now. Just did a thousand miler this past saturday, and it came in very handy in order to give my throttle hand a rest. Riding in the rain for several hours, the moisture seemed to make it harder to engage, but two days later it's back to normal. It does cost a lot, but it works like a champ, and looks good on top of my heated grips.

Installing was easy(make sure you use the soap)adjusting was a bit particular with the "ISO" Grips. Take your time and be sure to run up the engine to ensure break will hold with the vibration. Update: Initially installed during cool/cold weather here in Texas and it worked great. Finding that re-adjustment is needed for the 100+ degree weather. Hard to get the cam to engage.

a slightly frustrating installation - lost one of the small screws & couldnt find it - works just fine with only 3 screws - rode to Yellowstone in Sept. 2008 & this was a wrist saver!!!! nice to let go & relax the arm - if you dont have a stock cruise control on your bike - then this is what you are looking for

Not bad to install. Just make sure you become one with the instructions and really get familiar with the parts before trying to put on. Very good product. Worth every penny. Please note that after market brake handles will need to be grinded down to make the smoothness of your original brake lever. Not hard at all to do that. Put the old brake lever back on then install the cruise control. Now you will see how much you would need to file in down so you can put your much better aftermarket brake lever back on. I did have to put the cam risor on for my shadow. (its provided with the cruise control)

I bought this because my hand cramps up on long rides and this is fantastic. Just one look and you can tell this top quality made item. It is easy to install and adjust and no problem fitting over my ISO grips. Very safe with two ways to unlock first - next to the lock button is an un-lock button or just tuch the front brakes to release it. I would reccomend this highly.

This is a great, mechanical cruise control. The brake release is a very nice touch, especially if you have to stop short for any reason. It sets and releases easily by release button, or brake lever. Installation is tricky at first, but once you understand what they are trying to get you to do it goes very smoothly and easily. Simple adjustment to get it how you like, and then it's done and worry free. And the design and material make it look natural on most handlebar sets. Would recommend this to anyone who is in the market for a quality, mechanical cruise control.

The quality of this item is above and beyond what I expected. It's a bit pricey but it is worth every penny. I installed it in about 30-45 minutes. No hastel at all. It looks like it came stock on the bike. Very easy to understand and use. Don't buy one of those cheaper products... Spend a little more, It's the quality your paying for. You will be happy with this product.

I have had this now for a few years and love it. It is built for functionality as well as appearance. It is very well manufactured and looks as if it was made for the bike. This is the one piece of equipment I recommend for anyone that does a lot of distance riding. It is functional in all types of weather and conditions and I have never had a problem with it.

The BrakeAway replaced a Vista Cruise. There is no compairing the two. With a slight push it's set, tap the brake it's off. No fumbling around. The safety of the BrakeAway is Worth the extra cost. Installation wasn't difficult, just take your time and don't try and skip any of the steps.
