Used it on a 9000 km road trip recently. A little more money, but knowing that I can kick it off with a slight tap of the front brake is well worth it. Very easy to engage and disengage. Easy to adjust throttle up or down as needed while it's engaged. Easy install, works like a charm. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 06/19/12 by(dw1603) from , , for a 750 Shadow Spirit wrote: Brakeaway...THANK YOU! For long rides, this is the best thing ever. Completely happy with this product. My throttle hand was cramping and going numb. Tried the cheapo $30 brand...not only didn't work but was dangerous. So I ordered the Brakeaway Cruise Control, installed it and LOVE IT. Well worth the money. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

It took some patience to get it adjusted properly with an aftermarket brake lever, but once you've got it buttoned up it works great, and looks original; fits in seamlessly with the original throttle switch housing. Really eases the strain on long rides (always nice to get the blood flowing in the right hand for a change). Love the front brake release idea. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Takes some adjusting to get it set up but well worth it. Can be released with thunb or by pulling on the break lever. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(4 stars) reviewed on 04/11/12 byDavid (hoteclipse) from Kelowna, BC, Canada, for a 2011 1900 Raider wrote: I installed this control with no problem at all. It did take a bit of fine-tuning it but now it's done. It really works at a consistant lower speed but it seems to be not as tight when I'm going down the freeway. It might just require a bit more tuning. I like it though. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
