(2 stars) reviewed on 11/06/12 by(jturpin) from , , United States, for a C90 Boulevard wrote: The product was not as easy to install as in the video, but it was not really difficult, just some fumbling around to see how it installed correctly. Since it is made to be universal it is not a cookie cutter install. I do have the kuryakyn grips and I was able to get over the grips but the control does not really seem to work flawlessly. I need to see if there is anywhere to adjust but when released the throttle does not move back down, basically is stuck in place. The brake release works in releasing but the throttle just stays in the same spot. So it is sort of annoying if it stays up and I do a shift and the RPMS stay up. Need to look to see if adjustments can be made. For the price I would not buy again. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Took at least 2 weeks on and off; time permitting; removing it and then re-installing it agaain. Used some of the setup screws so much that I have started to wear-out the allen/hex key holes. Very nice looking piece of equipment and works like a dream when it is working. I am starting to feel that the ambient temperature has an effect on the BreakAway Motorcycle Cruise Control. I'm sure there are riders that would like it however I'll just stick with my throttle rocker. Review Details 1 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

I contacted the manufacturer. I was told I would need to install four more screws into the unit. I would have to drill new holes and do this. He tried to explain to me how but I did not understand. Now I have a $200 unit that I will have to remove next spring and hopefully give it to someone who can use it as it is. I own a Honda VTX 1300T. They should have added the screws in the first place. I'm not impressed. It's a nicely made piece of equipment but doesn't work on my bike. Serious disappointment. They were nice enough and tried to help, but never offered my money back. I'm done with it. RR Review Details 13 out of 16 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

It well need constant adjustments over time and has too many moving parts to go bad. You must make sure that the ISO grips and BreakAway are compatible with each other. Wrong size grips or wrong size cruise unit well give trouble assembling it. Had to replace ISO grips after trying to grind them down to fit cruise unit. Advise if you must have this unit take grips to a machine shop to be turned down to fit cruise unit. Good luck 2pyrs Review Details 19 out of 29 members found this review helpful.
