These are the ones you want if you want to give your bike a retro look, plus they make the bike look waaaay bigger. I find them much more comfortable than the stock bars. The Bikini Beach bars make a big difference but aren't so big that you need longer cables. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 07/24/04 byTurtle (TZwadlo) from Midlothian, VA, United States, for a 650 V-Star Classic wrote: Great addition and less expensive than risers. Very comfortable position, glad I went with these and not the 39" which would have been too wide for me. Had to drill one hole for the switch box and routed the cables and brake line behind the triple tree. Installed with Iso grips and it really makes the bike look big! (5 stars) reviewed on 05/18/04 byDavid Dennis (drumgig) from Fullerton, CA, United States, for a 2004 650 V-Star Classic wrote: I'm a tall guy so I need to stretch out--These bars not only accomidate those needs, but also give the bike a much larger, retro look. I'd recommend buying the stainless steel covered +2 inches lines for brakes, clutch, etc. However, the stock lines will still fit. Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. (5 stars) reviewed on 04/07/04 bytom (t_bone) from Colebrook, NH, United States, for a 2003 650 V-Star Classic wrote: Nice bars, look WIDE from behind. Make the bike look fatter and lower. Needed to switch cables to the rear side of the triple tree. Don't think this is an easy switch out, it'll take some time. Also reversed the cable guide bracket under the triple tree and had to cut off a piece of it to fit right. Need to drill a hole for the throtle control box nipple. You'll see what I mean. Worth the work though. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 03/18/04 bytrippin Campbell (trippin_onlife) from HILLSBORO, OR, United States, for a 2000 650 V-Star Classic wrote: Went with the internal wiring style (pre-drilled holes). Definately makes the bike look like a low-rider beach cruiser, also gives a more classic fat-boy look to the bike. In my opinion, this White Bros Bikini Beach bar is the one to go with for the Classic cruisers. Took about 6 hours to install: 1 hour to install bars and 5 hours to re-route those 26 wires through the bars. Needed to solder 5 inches of wire to each of the 26 wires so that they can reach each other. Use solder and shrink-tubing then wrap them with electrical tape. Finished product looks amazing!!
