I had to seperate the pipes from the chrome and return the Chrome due to the poor finish. I was also unhappy with the exhaust seals and purchased a better pair from Honda. Sounds GREAT !!! If you can't see me coming you can hear me... I have a Video Clip with Sound on the Communitey Page on my profile page... see - ftelenta

I don't know why the website doesn't show these fitting on the VTX1800N, but they do. The smooth curve around the chrome engine cover is what made these stand out to me, along with the adjustable slascut end tips. My brother (a mechanic) and I had these on in under 2 hours with no problems. I had the fuel processor added at the dealer, a high-flow air filter installed by me and some airflow holes drilled into the plastic filter cover that the chrome cover fits on.I then covered those holes with black felt. The bike really improved in performance and the sound is what this bike should sound like. Mileage was unchanged at 30-31 mpg. UPDATE 6/10: Took the bike on a 300 mile all day trip and got 46 mpg when loping along at 65, changed to 38 mpg when I decided to get the lead out.

These pipes look AWSOME. Everyone else has Big Shots. I like to be original. These and a Fi2000 Fuel Manager and my bike HAULS A**. Easy install. 2 hours (3 beers) start to finish.

Replaced the drag pipes with these pipes. These have a deeper sound to them that is much more pleasant while riding. They sound a little meek while at idle... twist the throttle and these babys come to life! I will admit that I cut both baffles in half, it makes all the difference and no decel pop. Install was a snap, Cobra hit a home run for us vtx riders.

Very nice sound. Not too loud when you are easy on the throttle, but lets everyone know you're around when you crack it open.

These look a heck of a lot better than the big stock pipe honda puts on them! Sounds great too. Just make sure you get the upgraded power converter along with them.
