Bolts that come with are too short (75mm) if you have a back rest (sissy bar) and saddle bags. Even the install instructions claim to supply 80mm but they are only 75. If I do a backrest I'm going to definately need bolts. I don't have saddlebags or a sissybar and I needed some plce to attach the bungee cords from my seat bag. These work great. They make having a place to attach bungee cords easy.
