This bar is perfect for the Star 1300 - and gives the bike an even more beefy look, especially from the front. You will need a helper (holder) for a few minutes, but it goes on easy. I imagine it will work well if ever needed - and you would not want to buy a thinner one. This is perfectly suited to the bike. Highly recommended. Note - DO not use the LHS replacement bolt for the floorboard mount - I reckon it's too long.
