Easy to install if you take off the fuel tank, as instructed. It gives a nice and even throttle response, eliminates almost all backfiring with my Vans&Hines pipes. I think I still need to play a little with the idle setting. Update: It failed after two weeks, called customer service at Cobra and they told me what to look for. Is working again.

I have just installed the fi2000 and love it, I have it on the factory setting ( 3.5,5,3.5 ) with custom pipes and no backfire and amazing throtle responce in all gears , awesome 4th and 5th gear pull. I did remove gas tank it took about 5 min super easy , 1 12mm bolt ,3 hex screws in speedo, dry fuel cilp , and two electronic conections 1 near fuel line and 1 in speedo no big deal if you ride you should be able to know your way around your bike :) happy riding
