It did elimnate the popping and back fire from the exhaust, can't really tell on the power increase but did make the bike run smoother. Will update as time goes by.. My bike was surging, popping, and back firing after adding my DG Sideburner pipes... now it's smooth as silk. Install was not hard, but time consuming. I had to remove the seat, lift up the tank, and remove the air intake system to get to the injectors. I mounted the brains behind the right side cover for easy access.
