Current motorcycle engines utilizing oxygen sensors and closed loop technology have very lean air/fuel mixture settings from the factory. These settings can limit power and make the engines run hotter than earlier model-year units. The Fi2000R O2 digital fuel processor is designed to work with all exhaust systems (stock or aftermarket) equipped with oxygen sensors in place. It accurately adjusts the fuel-injected engine's air/fuel ratio in order for it to run properly.

Overall, the installation would have gone smoother if my hands were smaller or there was more room under the tank. I defintely recommend using needle nose plyers for disconnecting the stock connectors. Performance wise, it's great!

I put a Cobra slip-on muffler on my bike and while it sounded great the backfiring when chopping the throttle was aweful! The Fi2000R fixed that problem completley. And not to mention I feel a big difference in the seat of the pants. I also added a K&N air filter and had to do a bit more tweeking on the settings but that was easy enough. Installation is pretty straight forward as is adjusting the settings...just follow the instructions. My only constructive critisim might be to actually label the fuel injector connectors...exactly which one goes to which injector. I kind of figured it out just by the obvious length but I kind of like knowing these things for sure. The slip-on muffler and the Fi2000R are must-haves for the Yammi 950.

Not too hard to install but you will have to raise the tank. I have not ridden with the FI2000 installed yet but it seems a quality product and the bike idles well with it installed.
