In order to install I did have to remove my gastank to properly route the ECU wires to behind the coil cover, but that's not too hard to do on a Roadliner. Also have to detach stock O2 sensor cable and attach this the cable on this unit. Once it was all hooked up and mounted under the seat the unit worked exactly as advertised. Immediately noticed a deeper sounding exhaust note and bike pulls stronger and faster than ever. I still get the occasional "pop" on shifting between 1st and 2nd but the unit I received was a "2nd Gen" one with a fuel idle mixture pot located on the motherboard that could be used to increase the amount of fuel added during idle states which could alleviate that small amount of popping as I roll off the throttle during shifting. I have only had it installed for a couple weeks and haven't riden the bike yet.. I did notice that the bike ran smoother at idle. UPDATE: I have run this for about 2000, miles. It really works. The bike,s driveability is smoother. I mean that I don't get that Choga choga in 1st gear or 2nd. The idle is soother. Low speed acceleration is more noticable. I got a couple MPG better. It is kinda spendy. IT works. Now all I need to get is pipes. The bike does have more seat of the pants acceleration. I have stock exhaust.
