This was a pain for a guy like me to install. First, it should have come with chrome hardware at the price Cobra is asking. It would cost them a whole lot less to buy them in bulk than it does their customers to go out and buy a handfull. Second, the bolt on the brake assembly just plain ol didn't fit. I had to go back out again. The bars are a tight fit, slightly scrunching a nearby radiator hose. Had to have help getting all the bolts in. I could get the bar to move enough, but needed someone else to put the bolt in while I pushed on the bars. The reviews that advise putting the bottom on first were dead on. In my case it was a must. I especially reccommend putting the bolt back on the brake cover first. Finally, I wish someone would have made a fatty bar for this bike. At the end of the day I do like the looks. They sorta bulk the bike out a bit. Hopefully, they will save me a little misery as I just graduated from sport bikes and have yet to get used to the feel of th...

looks good and simple to install but did require some significant torquing on the bars to line up the bolt holes. (edit) Chrome has rusted badly even with regular care, seems to be a common problem I have with cobra accessories. All other chrome on my bike has not been a problem.

Nice looking bars EXCEPT for the regular non chromed bolts at the top of the bar that made the installation look like a cheap add-on. Very dissatisfied with Cobra for this. Bought chrome finish bolts and completed the installation. Installed easily.

Installed a little over a month ago. Install not bad, just a little bit of prying here and there. Definitely mount bottom first, or else you risk stripping out bolt holes. Had to retighten lower left side. May want to use a flat washer on lower left side along with the lock since the lock gets misshapened in elongated hole of highway bar when tightened snuggly.

Should have come with stainless steel or chrome bolts. Not very easy to install but I imagine that varies amoung different brand bikes.

Nice chrome.......bad hardware.......Upon recieving my Cobra bars I ran straight to my favorite hardware supplier and replaced all the bolts, washers and nuts with chrome. The hardware sent was regular old plated stuff.....for an additional $16.00 it was really worth it.

Good protection for bike. Nice looking design. Heavy duty. Fit was ok. Takes a little time to install, you have to enlarge mounting holes on upper frame with drill bit. Top bolts a little difficult to install. Finish ok, could be better.

when used with the Hondaline floorboards, the brake pedal has to be bent slightly to avoid hitting the bars. After about about a year, the chrome starts to peel off the front of the bars. Might have to be rechromed if it peels off entirely.
