Very nice addition. Bottom right bolt was a little difficult to line up.

Install is a bit tricky to get my hands in to install the upper bolts. Look great once they are one, can be done by one person, but I recommend a casual helper for supporting the bars while fiddling with the bolts.

Looks good but alot of weld splatter marks on the bars by the tabs that were weled on that should have been sanded off prior to chrome plating. Difficult to install since the foot peg mount holes didn't line up after just getting all of the bolts in loosly. Had to use a floor jack and force it into position. Also doesn't come with chrome of stinless hardware. They give you steel fasteners which will rust. Had to go buy my own chrome fasteners at the harware store so add another $10+ bucs to the price.

These things have saved my legs when off the beaten path and have saved the paint during a accidental tip while learning the ropes of body mass.. LOL. They fit nicely except for one small thing (at least on my bike).. The brake pedal would not push all the way down firmly (slow down but not stop).. So I ground about 1/8th inch from the part of the bars mounting plate that my brake pedal could touch; then put some clear coat on the grind which healed the desease instantly. NO PROBLEM!!! You CANNOT tell I ground it down a bit and I love how fat they are and the bull dog appearance is great. Oh! The chrome is tough cause they weren't even scrathed during the accidental tip I mentioned above.. Now that's a good point right there I don't care who you are.. Can you say; (quickly brush yourself off and act like it didn't happen).. LOL

Quality product, perfect fit and styling. Really adds to the look of the bike. Stout built unit with strong attachment, hope I never have to test capability but am certain it will offer more protection if the bike should ever get down.

Great looking but not all that easy to install if you have large hands. I had trouble installing the nuts behind the frame gussets. This is not the fault of Cobra design but the bikes design. It just takes time a patients. Installing is not a 5 minute job. But once installed they look great and are a great value and adds some beef to the bike.

Great buy, came quickly, had to wait for warmer weather to install, no heat in garage. And yes,yes,yes... drill out holes with an old shirt covering bike to catch metal shavings, install bottom first, then top,and I didn't have a problem with the washers and bolts, but I am a 'girl' so I have little fingers to get behind the frame. And I did remove the radiator cover to get the bars in place. Take your time and wait till your husband is at work to make things go smoothly!!!!! By the way, this is my second new bike, I started riding last March on a Honda 600 and after 5 months I decided it was too small!!! The guys at the Honda dealership love to see me walk in!!

these look great on the bike. its nice to have something that will protect my legs and with my pegs mouted on them its very comfortable for long rides. you can strech your legs out and keep from goin numb. i just took a 500+mile ride and they saved my butt. just becarefull not to drill into your radiator hose when your drilling out the holes on the frame

Looks great, almost a perfect fit. I had to use some southern persuasion to make the holes line up after shipping. ALL of the supplied bolts are stainless steel instead of chrome. why? If you have BIG hands... good luck getting the upper nuts and washers on. (UPDATE) After almost a year, they are holding up great. I had expected the bolts to loosen up (but they haven't).

The first set I got had the lower right bracket welded on at the wrong angle. Had to get a new set. New Set went on easy with the help of a second person to hold one side while bolting the other.

These bars look great once they are installed. I used many of the reviews here on CC to help install them. I would recommend installing from the bottom up. I ended up bolting the bottom on first and using the top mounting holes as "pilot holes" to help line up drilling the mounting holes at the correct angle. Another trick to use to help get the lock washer and nut on the back of the bolt (The install will be blind) is to use a piece of tape on your finger to help. Using these tips this took all of 45 minutes to install with the help of my wife. Had I followed the instructions this would have taken hours.
