I was very pleased with it , all I had to do was to remove four bolts them put the Highway Bars in place & bolt it up . But I did have to relocate the Horn over to the side .

We put them on our Mean Streaks - 1500 & 1600. They were easy to install, about 1/2 hour each. Had to relocate the horn, but was easy to do as well. Look great on the bike. Helps to ride even more comfortably. We plan on buying pegs and lights for the freeway bars as well. Highly recommend to all.

had these before switching to forward controls. Didn't like how much they stuck out, but offered good protection and another place for your feet. Have to relocate the horn to the side to install.

This thing saved my bike. I had just had a brand new rear tire put on my Mean Streak. In the momentary excitement of getting my bike back after having been separated from it for several days, I forgot that new tires are notoriously slippery. I pulled out of the bike shop parking lot and gunned it. The new rear tire broke loose like it was covered in butter. The rear end swung left then right, then the bike flopped over on its right side. Despite the fact that I hadn't yet picked up much speed, the bike and I slid a good six or eight feet before coming to a rest. The engine guard took 99.5% of the damage. There was some scratching on the very end of the front brake lever, a tiny spot on the end of the right grip, a little bit on the edge of the right mirror and spot on the very end of the top pipe. The engine guard bent and twisted, but kept my beloved Meannie from accruing what I can only imagine would have been some truly fantastic damage. I got off with some minor road ra...

Installed very nice.I don't like new mounting hardware for relocating horn. It would be better if horn could be mounted back where it came from.

Breeze to install. I personally like the look. Did have some rust at the top center flange. Unit was replaced with only a moderate amount of hassle.

Sent my first ones back. To me the welds looked sloppy near the mounting brackets. I must add I'm not familiar with other brands bars so I have no reference point. They did replace them with another one that looked better. Very easy to install during which you must move the horn but they supply you with a bracket and it's real easy to do. They look great.
