Just finished installing and they look great. Install wasn't hard at all just a little time. I left the plastic on until i finished to keep from scratching and also mounted the top part first so it would be held in place. Doing it this way made it possible to do it on my own. The welds and chrome quality looks good.

Work and look great. Have had to use mine a couple of times with the bike loaded with bags, barely could tell they had touched. Protected the rest of the bike and riders perfectly. Mose

Had a friend install. Took 30-45 minutes. Just make sure if you buy an engine guard and you have the oil relocation kit you don't have to move it or buy the extended lines. other reviews help me decided which to get. I can lean fine and don't have a problem. I had to learn to point my toe straight to down shift but only a minor problem

I really like these bars. They look great and the installation was a breeze. I had them installed in under 30 minutes. Even though there is only one 'graphic' in the instructions, if you completely read through them before you start, it'll be obvious where everything goes. Protect the paint on the front fender during installation. Now for the highway pegs...

Oustanding fit. I love them. They have already saved me a paint job when I had to quickly lay my bike down to assist another rider that fell.

These look good and are easy to install. I mounted highway pegs on the bars. The engine guards entirely changed the look of the bike and made it look bigger when looked from the front.

TTT (tneal) from Alpharetta, GA, United States, for a 2004 Rav/Mocha, V&H Pipes 1100 V-Star Silverado wrote:

Just finished installing, they look great. If I ever have to install again, I would put in both spacers as directions say then I would install both top motor mount bolts as loosely as possible (just a couple of threads) starting with the shorter right side to make sure I don't x-thread them. Lastly, I would swing the bar into place and bolt to floorboards/pegs. All-in-all, under 45 mins by myself. Since these bars are big, I had concerns that they would drag in hard corners. I leaned the bike up as much a possible, straightened the front wheel and laid a sheet of plywood on the ground next to the bike so that the wood hit both wheels. I then raised the plywood to simulate a hard turn angle. The rear of the floorboard touched first as it should and floorboard folded almost all the way up before it touched the crash bars. Good enough for me, lean on and ride safe. Can only rate on looks (5) and ease of installation (3-4), top bolts could match up better.
