Mounting the highway bar was real easy. But you have to move the horn. They supply a bracket to relocate the horn to the back of the coil. This took longer than putting the bar on because there isn't much room to work with under the tank. The reviewers on here that had to drill may not have understood the installation correctly. I didn't have to do any drilling. When I first installed it and saw that the top was held on by the small horn bolts, it seemed a bit flimsy. I guess I wasn't familiar with this type of equipment. I looked at the one on my neighbors Harley Road Glide (factory installed) and it was very similar in bolt size and mounting position. So I guess this is pretty standard.
