Brake side spring seems to be sprung (and floorboard rattles). Cobra was happy to send replacement. Have not installed new spring. I'll try to twist it the other way if necessary. They look great but I just recently installed Vance & Hines pipes and there is no chance in h___ that this floorboard will fit. I am in the process of making a spacer unit to clear the pipes. Weld broke on mounting bracket after a couple of years, when I took it to welding shop, they said original weld hadn't penetrated surface! Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

I did not like the feel and they vibrated too much to be comfortable on the freeway. I removed them and put the stock pegs back on. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(3 stars) reviewed on 08/18/01 byMartin Ley (MLey1) from Santa Fe, TX, United States, for a 1100 Shadow ACE wrote: These floor boards give me the ability to move my feet around, which mikes riding my bike more comfortable. They came with my bike when I bought it(used), so I don't know how the install goes. They look good. I do, however, notice some vibration from the boards at certain speeds. While I know this is normal as the motor is a single pin, I think Cobra can do a better job of isolating the driver from vibration. For the price Cobra can do better.
