This exhaust system was a great upgrade to my Star. Not too loud, not too quiet. Plus the look of the shotgun pipes makes for a great look.

I was tired of my stock pipes. Well, actually, I was tired of my lads gunning thier throttles at a light and then turning to look at me, grinning like idiots. I just started honking my wimpy horn in response. NOW all I can say is SCHUUUUWING!!!! The first time I gunned it after install I couldn't wait to stop at a light with the lads...shut'm right up and no more grinning idiots!

Came on used bike... love these pipes, same as what I had on my Shadow 750. One of the many reasons I bought this bike were these pipes!

Just had the Cobra Lo boy shotgun exhaust professionallly installed. Start up sound is awesome as is the mellow tone at 35-45 MPH. Deceleration is deep and mellow. 65-70 MPH is acceptable, but may need ear plugs. Accerleration power seems stronger than with stock pipes! Pipes have excellent fitment! Had carbs jetted, and the guys did great job. Not a bit of backfire or deceleration noise!!!!! These pipes are great for the $$$$$$$............would buy again. Ordered these pipes on a Monday, and they were delivered in Utah on Sat PM!!!!! Would buy from CC again with this type of service!

Good pipes but there are better options out there. Showing some corrosion on the back side, also don't deliver as much power as some of the newer pipes. Have a little bit of a hollow sound.

I have the low boy staggared pipes on my o6 California v-star 1100. The stock pipes were getting me almost hit every week through my commute to and from work. Now no problems. Any group that says loud pipes dont save lives is full of it. They have a nice sound to.

I only bought these because they were a killer deal on ebay. I liked my hi-boys, but thought maybe I'd try these. I must say I do like the look of the lo-boy shotguns better. And they seem a bit louder than the hi-boys. Also, they were much easier to install than the hi-boys... maybe because I had practice with the others

love the look, and love the optional baffles. after a year of owning them they are starting to fall apart, rust on the chrome, discoloration, and exhaust leaks where they join together. this is after proper maintaining them, continual cleaning and polishing, etc.
