The Cobra rack mounts up nicely to it's matching sissy bar and looks fair overall. Installation took less than 10 minutes and fit-up was very good. The welding on this piece is not what you would call first rate. The welds are big and kind of sloppy looking( probably MIG welded ). Looks like they were ground and polished but still not great quality. The chrome looks good and should hold up ok.

Nice piece, fits well and works well. I keep the stock Yamaha tail bag attached to it, fits a bunch of stuff in small space. Easy install, but bracket does put stock fender trim about 1/4 inch away from fender. Looked a little weird with close inspection, but on next road trip found the space was very handy for bungee cord hooks to fit, so it works out fine. Chroming was great, part heavy duty. would not worry about 10 pound specified limit. You do need to install with one of Cobra sissy bar units, I like the very small grab rail unit and installed it with that. Looks great.

Easy install. I did get some rust on the inside of the bracket. Also wish they came with stainless screws. Screws rusted as well.
