It works for what is designed for. I have a VTX1800 and it looks too small on a bike of this size.

it doesn't look bad even with the small pad, but you can definately see where the larger pad will look better. Installing with the cobra saddlebag mounts already installed was a bit more tricky than it needed to be, but fewer parts needed to be interchanged. I recommend the use of locktight on the mounting bolts. Installation required modifying my saddle bags to slip over the mounting brackets which unfortunately means that they are not longer removable without the use of a knife or an allen wrench. However, the modifications were minimal and not all that invasive- you really can't see the change. Perhaps wrapping some finishing tape arround the cut and sewing it in will add a nice finished look to the process. The comment about mounting outside saved my bacon. thank you.

This is a good looking set up, for a sissy bar. I dont like sissy bars much, but need one for the wife. With my mustang seat this dont look good, and I used the mustang pad fo it so it would look better. With the corbin young guns seat the cobra pad looks better. the mustang passenger seat sits high, and it makes the cobra pad be low on the back, so not much suport, but with the corbin young guns sitting so low in the back, the cobra dose ok.
