WoW these pipes are great easy to install and looks great with stock header pipes and the sound just can not believe they sound that great. One thing is to paint the bottom bracket black with high heat paint so that it looks good instead of the chrome bracket showing. Also the clamps that come with the slip-ons turn them around threads facing frame.

Great sound but had a little trouble tring to attach to pipes.the chrome protection on the original stock pipes that are left on make it very tight to slide on and bolt in place.

Had these for about a year now very easy to install. You should probably consider re-jetting. They sound very good much better than stock could be a little bit louder though.

As slip-ons should be, very easy to install. Just as one ealier review wrote, I did have to paint the chrome bracket to black, too. I did a lot of searching, and this site did offer the best "out the door" price (because the shipping was free and no tax). The sound quality is just what I was looking for... nice throaty tone with a decent punch when you roll the throttle. Much more aggresive than the stock exahuse; it's nice to be able to hear my bike over other vehicles when taking off, but not so lound as to make others want to cover their ears. I would recommend these to anyone looking to get that V twin growl out of their V Star. My favorite change to my bike thus far.

These puppies will let the cell phone chatters know you are around! loud but not ear splitting would recommend a cobra jet kit and a Dyno tune.

Love these pipes...Easy to install...on a loudness scale I'd say they're in the middle and they have a very nice exhaust note...I had to paint a support bracket which is used to support the bottom pipe. It is not shown in the product picture, but is bright. I painted it black and it is now virtually unseen as in the product picture.

Great sound, perfect fit. If there is anything you should fit to your standard bike, this must be it.
