Copperhead (wattdachshund) from Waterloo, SC, United States, for a 2006 1600 Vulcan Classic wrote: Just put the exhaust on to replace the crap DG 3" that broke off....for the second time. The sound is pretty good and not nearly as loud as the 3" hardchromes. It may be just me but I do feel like I lost a little torgue/HP but on the upside the bike seems to run quite a bit smoother (no back firing on decel). Overall they look great, sound good and Im happy so far with the product. The only problem I had with install is that the DG hardkromes had fixed flanges that bolt to the cylinder. The cobras do not come with the flanges and suggest you use the stock flanges. Luckly I saved the old original exhaust and had them available. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Just had to redrill the two bolt holes. Love the sound, nice deep rumble, and not to loud. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

I don't know if I like the "loudness", but my wife does! I am thinking about getting the baffles for them. I got these through Dennis Kirk for $455. I had problems with installing the front heat shield hose clamp but other than that installation was a breeze. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Martin Hassall (afrosamari) from Busselton, WA, Australia, for a 2008 1600 Vulcan Classic wrote: Fantastic product, makes my bike sound awsome, supprised me how loud they were. Had some trouble installing the pipes, found that the bracket where you screw the pipes on to the bike at the rear did not fit had to drill new hole. The video on how to remove and fit pipes didnt mention any thing about the exhaust chamber under the bike that needed to removed. But am 100% happy with this product Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
