Awesome pipes....look sweet!! Didn't enjoy install of the lower/front heat shield...major PITA...not happy with how the tip of the shield sits so close to the exhaust flange either. Brake reservoir relocation bracket can't be used due to my ORK. Other than those items I'm extremely happy with them! Edit-- remove the right side frame tube on V star to make install effortless.....Cobra should update their install instructions! Realized how easy it WOULD have been during AIS removal

Just installed. Pretty easy, but if you have the Baron's Highway bars, you'll need to uninstall them to get the rear brake reservoir to mount. Once the reservoir is installed on the relocation bracket, the bars fit fine. Not too loud, in fact I would say they are just about the right level. Loud enough to hear them at highway speeds, but not obnoxious.

Look great and sound even better, I run mine with the baffles, I tried them without nice but a tad to loud, I am a mechanic and fitted them myself, found the instructions a bit ordinary especially for the fitment of the heat shields if you not fairly handy with tools get a shop to fit them. Totally happy with the finish and performance.

Had a few hick ups installing... Had a friend who is a mechanic of 20+ years help me install and still had a hard time. Cobra has some really stupid design flaws. With a few adjustments of our own they fit great. They sound even better, they have a nice amount of sound not too loud but not to soft.

Previously added 424 cams, dyna3000, chubby air pods and rejetted the carbs. This purchase rounded it out. Assembly and mounting were straightforward as advertised. Manufacturer stands by the warranty. Nut weld broke on rear mounting bracket - and they replaced complete rear bracket no charge. Factory tech support and service is excellent.

Sweet pipes. Installed myself. Sounds awesome and gave my bike a noticeable increase in performance. Looks awesome on the V-Star classic. Chrome on one of my billet tips started to flake. Cobra was awesome to work with and warrantied the part with less than a weeks turnaround.

These pipes are well worth the money. They sound great, look great, and make my bike run great. Install is easy but the heat shields gave me a little trouble. But once you do it a couple times(exhaust has to come off to get to oil filter)its not so bad. I am going to relocate oil filter so I dont have to mess with pipes. Also I did have to jet my carberator. Not so easy.

These were perfect for the look and sound I want. Big and beefy. I'm not using em but it's nice to have the option of standard or extra quiet baffles (separate accessory) if your home owners association starts giving you a hard time ;-)
