They're not too loud, and they have a nice throaty rumble as you go through the gears. They fit and look good with the Heritage saddlebags too. Most riders say "you can't have too much chrome" or "the more chrome, the better." I don't agree with that and I have been giving my Heritage its own identity, and these pipes have helped emensly. I also had the aircleaner change/ECU mapping performed when the pipes were installed. The idle speed seems to be just slightly higher, but otherwise it runs with a bit more pep and pomp!
