Turn signals on light bar hit crash bar (MC Enterprises Full Size Engine Guard) when its parked or backing up, be careful not to brake. Wiring connectors didn't fit, had to motify, but with a few snips of wires, sodering and shrink wrapping you can't tell. Have a Memphis shade that doesn't work with the light bar. I had read about the "Cobra" wiring problems and just wired mine using a relay. Now lights are powered straight off of the battery and not the headlight. winks (mrjdwinks) from Tarentum, PA, United States, for a 2000 600 Shadow VLX wrote: Nice light bar.. Great straight across look. Yes, the indicator lights come with-em and no there not the same as stock so if you have grill covers on your stock, they will not fit-em (see my bike). I took some thought and adapted my stock lights to the bar in order to use my grills. Review Details 6 out of 6 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Darwin (Stillson00) from Ocean Springs, MS, United States, for a 2003 Illusion Blue 600 Shadow VLX wrote: Nice lightbar. Not to bad to install. The lightbar comes with turn signals preinstalled on the bar. I was hoping to use my stock turn signals with clear lens covers. Now I need to see if I can get clear lenses from Cobra. The turn signals were easy to wire up. They give you plenty of wire with two sizes of connectors. The directions were ok. There could have been more details and a wiring diagram. They were not to helpful on where to connect the power wire for the spot lights. Still looking for a perminent spot. They should have provided a relay given the price of the lightbar. Update (2/16/05) : I bought an automotive relay and fuse at Radioshack. I installed it so that when I turn on the ignition the lightbar would have power via a 10amp fuse. The switch on the light bar can still be used to turn the lights on and off. It only cost me another $10 and will protect my stock wiring. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful.
