The first technician did a lousy job. The fluod lights were not aligned properly, and the one signal light was not grounded properly. Took the bike back twice for adjustments. The second technician was excellent and did a class A job. Know the technician that works on your bike. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

First thing I am learning from other riders is to decide if you prefer to wire your bar to the head light lead or use a wiring harness. Everyone recommends making/buying a wiring harness to avoid issues and possible damage to your bike's starter. I got my harness from gonzogarage.com. Easy to install and he's very helpful. Wired mine to operate independent of the headlight. One connection to the positive battery post, one to a ground, splice into the hot wire to the tail light, remove the tank,(easy) and run the lead up to connect to the light bar. Cobra's inst. to "remove the rubber mount" for the turn indicators leaves you in a quandry. I used a hot knife to slice through the rubber and cut away the metal bracket molded inside. Couldn't figure out how to wire the relay that's recommended for all Honda's. Then found that one of my main problems was that the hot wire feeding the left lamp was loose/disconnected causing a short and blowing several inline 15 amp fuses. This was a problem from the factory. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

No one seems to be able to agree the proper way to wire it. Looks good though, adds light off to the sides as advertised. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. I'm not impressed with the finish of the backside or underneath. Everything is open and you can see the wires. I'd prefer to see it all enclosed. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? It makes it more visible plus it does add extra light to the road at night. I had this unit installed by the dealer and also had them change the standard headlamp bulb to a brighter bulb (100/40). Throws enough light to see sleeping gators on the road. Stock turn signals mount to this lightbar. Added the lightbar relocator to use my Memphis fats windshield.
