Couldn't figure out how to wire the relay that's recommended for all Honda's. Then found that one of my main problems was that the hot wire feeding the left lamp was loose/disconnected causing a short and blowing several inline 15 amp fuses. This was a problem from the factory. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

And, the ends are squared, instead of rounded. I had to spend some time getting the wires all tucked in and zip-tied out of sight. It worked out OK in the end. (5 stars) reviewed on 05/07/07 byRod O'Hara (chief5420) from Trinity, FL, United States, for a 2005 Black 1100 Shadow Spirit wrote: Looks great. However, you will need two pigtails that don't come with light. Nor did CruiserCustomizing recommend them when I purchased the light bar. Had to make my own. Instructions also state that the fuel tank needs to be emptied. I found this wasn't the case. However, to plug up the breather pipe. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful. (4 stars) reviewed on 11/29/06 byBob (bkbob) from Houston, TX, United States, for a 2006 Pearl Blue 1100 Shadow Spirit wrote: Looks Great!!. Only problem is the way the wiring comes from Cobra. I rewired it so the wires are incorporated into the turn signal wires. The neg wire from light to light was designed to be tie wrapped to the bar. Looked like Hell. Took about two hours to do it right and heat shrink the assembly but well worth the time!! Also used the BLV-40030 bar relocator so it would clear the windshield. (5 stars) reviewed on 06/20/06 byJeg (StarGazer42) from Renton, WA, United States, for a Red 2002 1100 Shadow Spirit wrote: Easy install...had to raise my windshield all the way up to clear the lights. Nifty use of stock turn signals which are now far enough away from the windshield to eliminate that 'glow' they would send up through the plexi, which when wet is a surreal thing to be looking through ... There is a switch on the right side that can be used, but I have rerouted it to a slave relay off an accessories switch that turns on the intercom/radio power. Mounted a little toggle near the key Looks nice on the bike, but have to hold judgement on the illumination - accident avoidance factors for a bit.
