Nice chrome but if you have the Memphis shades windshield you're going to run into issues. The relocation bracket still does not move it forward enough, about an inch to short.

Cobra said this would not fit my vtx1300retro with any windshield. Other members said the same but I had no problem with my memphis windshield. You must buy the blv4-0030 relocation kit. Basically follow the directions. You are provided with 2 different lengths of spacers and 8mm bolts. I placed the longer ones under the fork tree and the shorter ones under the relocation plate. I did have to buy 2 8mm nuts. Everything fell in place and looks great. Enjoy.

Directions could have been a lot better and I had a short in one of the lights. I had to have it professionally fixed. Lights work good and they make the bike look awesome.

Great product but!!! Why did'nt they run the wireing all the way through the unit instead my mechanic had to run the wires under the bar and hold them in place with ties. Just dose'nt make any sence.

Easy to fit and looks good. My biggest complaint is that it took over an hour to remove the shrink wrap plastic packaging from the light bar. It was stuck like sh#t to a blanket. Also the chrome bar was a little discoloured. However it is in a section under the front headlight and cannot be seen. End result is a good look make sure you drape a towel or similar over the front guard before you start....just in case!!

I feel a cruiser isn't complete without a lightbar, but found something wrong with every lightbar in every review I read. Based upon my dealer recommending the Cobra Steel Lightbar, I decided to take the plunge...and I'm glad I did! The picture on Cruiser Customizing is incorrect, as the stock blinkers will mount to the side of the spot lights and not underneath them (I'm glad it came that way and like the appearance much better). The install is time consuming from a mechanical standpoint, but the electrical is extremely easy. If you want this to fit the VTX 1300R with a windshield (I have the Custom World International 23 inch INDY windshield), you will need to purchase the relocator kit BLV-40030. In addition, you will need to go to your local hardware store (Lowe's or Home Depot) and buy two M8-1.25x70 flange bolts with lock nuts. There are two different lengths of spacers sent with the lightbar, and you will need to use the longest set; however, the bolts Cobra sends for the ...

Does not fit a 2006 VTX 1300R with Memphis shades windshield even with the crappy extender kit. Don't bother unless you want to fabricate your own extender.

Great look beware the signal lights mount on the side not the bottom. I like them better that way, makes the front look wider.Looks even better with the visors.

I like the way it looks but I had to get a head light extender kit to fit it on beacuse of the wind sheld. The extender cost about $35 and took a week to arrive. Put it all together myself in about 1 hr. once the entender kit arrived

Well, I must say this lightbar was a disappointment. First of all the picture on xtremerevolution.com was not accurate. It also stated I could install with the extender bracket if I had the memphis shade windshield, which also was inaccurate. The problem, Cobra decided to change design somewhere between 2006-2007 and when they did, that created a misfit with the lightbar when you attempt install with memphis shades, even with the bracket. Even if I ran without the windshield I still would not like the look of this new design, with the turn signals out to the side rather than underneath. Bottom line, check with the manufacturer before you order to be sure you know what you're getting. One last thing, xtreme wouldn't return the product as I had already installed the product, though I would have never known about the misfit unless I did install it. This is one of those personality flaws about my bike that i'll have to learn to live with unless I choose to spend another $250 to chan...

Very nice. Later I will move the on/off switch up to the handle bar. Dealer had to add shimms to get bar to fit with windshield. Great for long rides especially at night. May have to turn off if you aren't riding lead.
