Great tacho, fits good, looks like it belongs there and works well. Fitting was easy it took about 20 minutes. Unfortunately it took me another half an hour to sort out the wiring. The instructions are easy to follow but the colours and functions on an Australian 08 model are totally different. The pick up from the coil was as advertised and easy to fit. The black and yellow on the headlight is good for the earth as listed. The indicators have a black and yellow for earth and either a green or grey, not a blue or red in the whole headlight. I tried the green and the tacho and light work really well but only when the indicator flashes on, intermittent tachos are not very good. There is a spare blue and white which has power but the tacho light stays on even when the ignition is switched off. Ended up running a wire to the fuse box and finding power there. It was a bit of mucking around but is worth it in the end.

Great item! I can't drive without a tach! is perfectly centered on the tree, and the finish is nice. Good liquid movement keeps the needle steady even when bike is vibrating. Not for the timid, some electrical harness taping is required.
