Full-length, 2.5-inch heatshields cover 1.75-inch headpipes so stock and most aftermarket muffler bodies will fit perfectly.

The larger heatshields will also deflect more heat making it noticeably cooler for the rider and passenger.

Cobra's True Dual headpipes come with Cobra's limited Lifetime Warranty in addition to a host of other unique features. One-piece full-length, 2.5-inch diameter heat shields cover the pipes from the exhaust ports to the chromed, muffler bodies. The heat shields are a larger diameter than most other offerings on the market and the single-piece shields (especially on the rear pipe) are singular in their design and effectiveness.

The added benefit is that the larger heatshields will deflect more engine heat away from the rider, making it noticeably cooler for the rider and passenger

The pipes were also designed to deliver optimal torque and power while increasing the stock bike 's rideability right in the sweet spot of the torque curve. The system consists of headpipes and heat shields and all of the mounting hardware needed to complete the installation of the made-in-the-U.S.A. pipes.

The headpipe's 1.75-inch diameter ensures the stock mufflers and most aftermarket mufflers will fit. The system is equipped with oxygen sensor bungs so you can take advantage of your motorcycle's closed loop technology.

The Cobra pipes look good but was very hard to install. After on the bike I was not able to get the rear pipe away from the frame and was very close to the engine cover. After talking with cobra redid everything so I could get rear pipe from touching frame but still very close to engine cover. Then the muffler would not go on due to the pipe end not in line. I have had it with this setup and ordered V-H from H-D and will have them install. They said that is way they sale V-H and not the cobra header pipes in there store. If you buy the cobra for your 07 H-D good luck. I want to send them back but maynot be able to. Talking to CC about it now.

I purchased the True Duals, slash cut mufflers and the Fi2000 computer. Installing the true dual headpipes was a challenge due to the location of some of the bolts but not an impossible task. It took me about 3 hours to install them. Removal of all the old pipes about 1.5 hours. The computer installation took about 2 hours due to the routing of the cables and plugs. The mufflers were just popped on with no problems. The total outcome is some awesome sound. The engine runs much cooler and there is a noticeable improvement in power. The only, and minimal, downside is that my gas mileage dropped about 15%. But for the sound, power and cooler ride, well wrth it. You should definately get the computer or your engine will run very lean, hot and may backfire on deceleration. I rate the entire system an A++
