This True Dual system increases the performance over the stock machines. Complete with heatshields that do not turn blue. This system is a vast improvement over the stock system. Cobra redesigned the heat shields and will replace them at NO COST on the True Duals for the Nomad's. I too had the rear heat shield rubbing/cutting into the lower heat shield. I called Cobra, sent the rear heat shield ( the short piece) to them, they were aware of the issue, corrected and sent me brand new re-designed heat shields. MUCH better fit. Great customer service.

Got mine a few weeks ago, two days later the chrome peeled of the right hand muffler. Good response from dealer and the whole chain to Cobra. New ones on now, no probs. I do agree with other comments here about the packaging with news paper, but I guess recycling is good, mine arrived in good order. Put in the FI2000 set to 223 and K&N air filter. All in all a wonderful transformation, goes like a rocket now, better low down pick up, great sound and the missus says its not too bad on the back out on the road. One mystery I couldn't figure is the rear heat shield touches the front one..why? I put a spacer under it to give a couple of mil clearance.

I like these pipes for the sound..but I think the stock pipes looked better and were alittle higher quality.
