(4 stars) reviewed on 06/30/09 by(cedareden) from Saranac Lake, NY, United States, for a 2006 Titanium 1300 VTX1300C wrote: Nice look. VERY tight fit. Had to take out clock face and pound billet piece onto handlebar with head of cold chisel and hammer. NOT sure if the thermometer is going to be accurate, and definitely TOO small to read while riding! I have the black face to match my bike's instrument cluster. (1 stars) reviewed on 01/14/09 byScott (VeesVTX) from Durham, NC, United States, for a 2005 Candy Red 1300 VTX1300R (S) Retro wrote: This product should be redesigned. Great idea, but very little functional use. 1. numbers are too small to actually read without getting your face up next to it. 2. temperature only accurate when the bike is is in the garage. Once the sun hits it, it will register 100 degrees in 70 degree weather. The only thing I like about it is that it balances out my handle bars with the clock on there as well. Also, this product did not fit my handle bars. I ended up having to file down the chrome attachment to get it to slip over my handle bars. Not worth the price. (2 stars) reviewed on 12/01/08 bySmoky onthewater (dumbass) from walnutport, PA, United States, for a 2010 1500 Vulcan Classic wrote: A little crome but not very functional. The engine heat makes it totally unreliable. You cant read it while riding. Too small. I might replace it with the clock model if its readable. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
