Nice material, plush but firm and love the wrap around feel of it! This will be a great addition to my bike for my daughters' sake (passenger). Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Big Mo (Rides4Christ) from Clinton, IA, for a 2008 Black 900 Vulcan Custom wrote: Sissy bar doesn't really come with anything adjustable. Nonetheless, sissy bar is nice and thick making it feel sturdy and the large pad is a lot better than the small triangular pad I had on my other back reast. The pad is indented so positioning is a little critical because the indention seems like it was made to strickly fit the mid/lower back. I was able to fit it in a good spot. The cushion feels well and I hope it still does after a ride in the rain. I rated a 3 on the install because the pad came with 3 screws to attach to the sissy bar and it didn't have any pre-drilled holes, so making it straight and in the middle took a little bit of effort. mike (ellocoB) from chandler, AZ, United States, for a 2008 S50 Boulevard wrote: I would call this an extra large pad. It is huge! However, why get a backrest if its not even going to be comfortable for your passenger? Not sure where they get the 3 inch adjustable thing. Maybe because they have you drill your own holes? I did kind of appreciate that, it was nice to mount it just right for my wife. Well worth the money and good quality. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Adam Boone (amboone) from Halifax, NS, Canada, for a 06' Black Mean Streak 1600 Vulcan Mean Streak wrote: I purchased this backrest a few months back at the beginning of the riding season. My biggest concern before I ordered the produce was how much it would take away from the sporty look of the bike. I have a mustang solo seat on the bike now with a removal 2nd seat for the little woman. I thought a backrest would not suit the look or style of this bike, but I was wrong. Once it arrived, I installed it in about 45-60 minutes. Be careful when pre-drilling the pilot holes for the installation of the pad that the bit does not get wound up with the wool stuffing in the backrest pad as my bit did and it cause the whole to dramatically increased as it pulled out mounds of stuffing. Other than that the installation difficulty was average, not super easy, but not rocket science either. All the parts were in the package EXCEPT for the mounting brackets that you HAVE to order separately as the product description indicated. (I missed that part and had to order it after the backrest arrived) ... Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
