I had "inherited" a kuryaken tombstone bag from the wife when she got her mustang seat with backrest. I was dubious about its comfort, but it makes a huge difference over nothing at all. If I didn't get her tombstone bag, I was intent on purchasing a lazy rider bag. With the Suzuki gel seat on the bike, and the tombstone bag, I was being pushed too far forward. By removing the tool kit cover and stock backrest pad AND the pad from this extension, I was able to achieve a great seating position. The removal of the pad went very quickly with just 4 hex head bolts to remove at the top. I think I will next remove the flat metal plate that the pad slides onto - I had contemplated putting a graphic or logo on the plate, but I think relocating the tools and removing the black pla... She loves it and it looks great on the bike. The only draw back is if you happen to lose the pad (someone knocked my off in a parking lot ^&%&*^^(*) you can't just reorder the pad have to order the whole set.
