Very nice shaft guard. Made from a Heavy grade Aluminum and looks to be triple chrome plated. I installed mine with the Kuryakyn Phantom covers. To make it work I had to widen the bolt holes on the guard just a tad, on the back side of the hole. Take a look at my pics to get an idea how it looks.

Made my own custom cover out of aluminium, looks very close to this one but not chrome plated but polished & buffed.

As posted by another member, the Rizoma cover had to be seriously trimmed to fit. They do look great together.

Actually, mine is on a v-star 1100 classic, but it is the same product. Probably a bit different fit, but looks just as good on the bike. Does a nice job of covering up the open area around the drive shaft.

Perfect fit for my 1100 classic. Installed in about ten minutes, which was all inclusive. Good piece of chrome and it will also serve to add some protection to the shaft.

I am using the same cover for the 1100 Classic. With the exception of a little burring on the backside of one hole, the finish is very good. It serves the intended purpose of hiding the shaft drive; chromed mounting bolts or chrome bolt covers would complement the overall look. The cover is only held in place by two of the mounting bolts. Since the forward end has no attachment point be sure there's no frame contact. If it's too close you might hear some vibration but once adjusted this should no longer be a problem. I had my dealer check for me and according to their catalogue, Custom World International lists the same part number for all V-stars: 650, 1100; custom, classic, Silverado.
