I didn't have enough chrome on that side of the bike, so this was a nice touch. I had the dealer install it but it was a matter of loosening 2 bolts and putting them back on. Something you could easily do yourself - as long as you get the bolts tightened back down well! The only thing I didn't like about it is it has the brand name stamped on the front of it.
