(5 stars) reviewed on 08/25/05 byBamadog (bamadog) from Dallas, TX, United States, for a 2000 Pearl Red 1100 Shadow Sabre wrote: Easy install - you just have to remove the gas tank first which is no big deal. 2 little hoses, 2 bolts and it comes right off. Just turn the gas valve horizontal to OFF so you don't spill gas all over the place. Just unscrew the OEM black plastic crap, then put on the clips over the bolt hole and viola. Easy install and the neck all of a sudden looks good. Put the gas tank back on, bolt on, slide the 2 rubber hoses back in place, put knob back DOWN and you're ready to go. Looks good, and is a cinch to install. Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 04/15/05 byKevin (INDY52) from Charlestown, IN, United States, for a 2003 1100 Shadow Sabre wrote: One of the nicest additions to my bike. Good quality chromed metal pieces instead of the plastic stock covers. Only one of the two original screws is used in installation. I put a small bead of RTV between frame and covers to keep them from flexing and possibly working loose. You have to loosen gas tank and slide it back a few inches to install covers so you don't want a lot of gas in the tank. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
