Actually, it is not a bar at all but a pair of brackets that mount to the factory windshield mounts. Very unobtrusive brackets with good chrome. The lights are pretty bright but wish they were halogen. I'd buy this one again. Installation hint: have someone help you to hold all the parts to align the bolts or just use some double sided carpet tape to hold the small spacer in place.
