Actually, it is not a bar at all but a pair of brackets that mount to the factory windshield mounts. Very unobtrusive brackets with good chrome. The lights are pretty bright but wish they were halogen. I'd buy this one again. Installation hint: have someone help you to hold all the parts to align the bolts or just use some double sided carpet tape to hold the small spacer in place. You can only mount this model if you have the Suzuki OEM windshield. I do not have any windshield on my bike and this factor was not listed in the description. Kinda wasted my time. Custom World does make one for use without the windshield but their price is a little high. Guess I will continue to look for another decently priced light set since I am now having to return these.
