(4 stars) reviewed on 06/15/10 by carman T (eynstyn) from saskatoon, SK, CA, for a 2008 Canadian Edition, BLACK AND CREAM 1100 V-Star Classic wrote: star 1100 classic Canadian edition,easy to put on and wire, they were to close to oem windshield, made my own adapter extension by using 3/8-24 tpi x 1.75" long coupling nuts,(i later cut them to what suited me for length and how close i wanted the lights to the shield)i installed a set screw 1/4-28 tpi. turned the coupling nut onto the original chrome adapter making sure the flats lined up and drilled the set screw through the coupling nut and into the treads of the oem adapter. cut the bolt the went through the light to 3/4" long, this goes through the light bar and into the coupling nut, bought stainless bolt and cap nut to replace the one it took out. i think it looks good, i painted the long nut but it should be chromed. I also bought an after market relay at my local auto shop.(5.00)(30 amp relay) instead of buying the exspensive motorcyle one.One problem I did find was that the lights cannot be adjusted left to right,just up and down.
