It's very chrome-ey, and gives my bike a more custom, more old-school look. I'm constantly getting compliments, and best of all, my girlfriend no longer complains about having to hold on for dear life when I really open it up. Install was a little harder than I expected, but not terribly difficult. Start to finish was about 2 hours doing it by myself. Probably would have taken alot less time if I'd had some help. For the Marauder, you have to actually drill a hole in the rear fender for the front bracket bolt. That was kind of a pain, but I think this is something specific to Marauders. Depending on what you ride, you may not have to drill any holes at all. Great finish, great look, reasonably simple installation. Well worth the money!
