I got this for my back on long rides.I fabracated a bracket and installed it on my original back seat.Now when I am going on a long ride I just change from the mustang seat to my stock seat and I have my backrest.

When i first got it i did not think it would fit on the bike because it mounts right where the saddlebags and passenger backrest mount too. I decided to try anyway and with a lot of patience did manage to install it, it took awhile but was worth the effort looks good on the bike and is comfortable.

Acutally, I got mine off of Ebay. IT IS NOT the Custom World Int. Drivers backrest. Check it out on ebay. Do a Search on ebay for Kawasaki 1600 Nomad or Vulcan Classic Driver Backrest. The bidding starts at $90.00, but goes up fast, you can "Buy Now" for $100.00, plus $13.00 shipping, which is what I did after 3 attempts. Just ordered it 14 Apr 08, will Update when I get it. It will only works with OEM Seat (Driver and Passenger), or OEM Solo Seat. Your supposed to be able to take the drivers seat off, replace it with the bolt supplied, then put the seat back on, and its removeable if you want to take it off. Cheaper than buying a new setup at $600.00 dollars for a seat and backrest. Been using this backrest for over a Month, went to myrtle beach bike week, saved my back emensley. worth the money
