Held on by 3M double sided tape - we'll see how long that lasts. It is a pretty snug fit besides the tape, so maybe it will be fine. Never have enough chrome! Not worth the price for tape-on chrome, though. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 01/04/04 byDarryl Mocek (dmocek) from San Jose, CA, United States, for a 1998 1100 Shadow Aero wrote: This is a stick-on thick chromed piece of metal. it looks good on the bike and covers a black painted piece. This is especially nice because the right side of the bike is the side you see most (and the one Honda spent the most time making look nice) since the stand is on the left. (5 stars) reviewed on 12/10/03 byJerry (AeroBird) from NORTH BEND, WA, United States, for a 1999 1100 Shadow Aero wrote: This chrome piece really looks GREAT on the bike! I bought mine from Cruiser Customizing" for $63.00. It only stays on with double sided tape so don't ride for about 24 hrs until it sets up. It does seem to be on solid though. It was cold out so I used a hair dryer to heat the tape and contact surfaces up before installation. You really need it for a finished look on this side. It is good quality metal chrome but is a bit pricey for a piece of metal. I aslo used "Krylon Acrylic Clear Coat" for the back side to prevent corrosion ....Cheers!...Jerry (AeroBird) Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. I could not get this part to fit right. I ended up bending it and the chrome cracked. The piece was ruined, so I threw it into the trash. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful.
