It adds another piece of chrome to the right side of the bike. I had my doubts that it would stay in place with just "double-sided" tape but no problems so far with it coming loose from exhaust pipe heat, washing or road bumps. The chrome plate goes right over the round piece using the double sided tape and one thick rubber double adhesive piece for the lower part. Nice chrome, not like the Right Frame Cover sales picture.
