I didn't believe it would stay on until I rode 400mi the day after I installed these, and another 1000 miles that week (and washed the bike like 200 times in the process). Was a little tricky to fit well as the hole isn't a great fit around the pivot cap. Needed to bend slightly for a snug fit. Hope the tape holds up to the rising.
