I bought the LeatherLike brand almost exactly like these at the Honda Dealer. Very nice and super easy to detach. 100% leather look and fairly waterproof.

I have the Leatherlyke Cross Country hard saddle bags...similar to the one in this picture. Had the dealer install the mounting brackets since they had to replace the rear fender anyway (fender scratched at the time of purchase). Instructions for installation appear to be pretty straight forward.

I have the Leatherlyke bags. They look similar to these but have conchos and are textured to look like leather. I like the lockable top and the durability. They can be attached and taken off in a few seconds.

I actually have the Leatherlyke studded bags and they make the 1300 Retro look awsome. They are very functional and durable and they really bring the traditional cruiser look out.

I've owned the bags for a couple of months now, & have been pleased with their performance. It took a couple of trips to the hardware store while installing, due to the mounting bolts being too short, when the spacers were in place. We took a 600 mile road trip & they worked great.
