The Smart Switch is a convenient way to control your lightbar. Installation is straight forward and simple. I mounted the unit inside the main headlight housing. The only change that I might make is to trigger off the low beam switch which would "automatically" turn on the lightbar since the headlight switch is normally in the low beam position.

Great way to control your lights without installing an extra switch. Makes wiring easier too.

I didn't like the idea of reaching over my handlebars to switch on/off my Cobra lights and also didn't want to add any switches. This lets you use your headlight switch to control your light bar. This is a nice accessory to have.

Avec le livre de réparation de yamaha et la charte du circuit électrique, ce fut très facile à installer. elle fonctionne très bien. With the repair book of yamaha and the electrical chart it was versy easy to install.

Installed this with a National Cycle lightbar on my Aero 750. Instructions are sufficient and works as advertised. I like that it defaults to "off" on power up to go easier on the battery.

Works well. Fairly easy install. Lights do not come back on after going from low to high and back to low, have to flip the switch again to reactivate the lights. Update - the directions have it tied to a hot line in the headlight bucket, hated this because the lights will stay on after the bike is off. Completely removed the 'smart switch' and wired the lights in manually using the method similar to the one shown on Gadget's Fixit Page for Kawasaki Nomads (http://www.gadgetjq.com/wiredrivinglights.htm). Connected system directly to the battery and the relay activates on the low beam voltage. Works Perfect!. Added a switch so I can turn them off if I choose.

I HAD THIS INSTALLED ON MY BIKE A FEW YEARS AGO. I LOVED IT. BUT NOW MY RUNNING LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING. I AM NOT SURE IF IT IS THE FAULT OF THIS SWITCH. I GUESS I WILL FIND OUT WHEN I TAKE IT BACK IN THE SHOP TO HAVE THE PROBLEM FIXED.

A MUST have if you have a light bar!! I had to have my local Honda Deaer install it fo me, but it was worth the cost! When I put my light bar on, and the lights would only work with my headlight on high beam, I didn't like it. But now, with this shitch, evey time you click the high beam switch, it puts on a different option on the lights; Spot lights and head light on high beam, click again and the head light goes to low beam, click again and the spot lights go off, etc., etc.

This item works as advertised. It "hides" nicely in the headlight housing and is a very easy install. I recommend this switch highly.

This was a great way to hook up my lightbar without running yet another switch to my handlebars. Simply flash from dim to bright and back to dim to turn the lightbar on and off. What could be easier. minimal wire splicing.

Easy to install if your comfortable splicing into your bikes electrical system. A great product and easy way to control your auxilary/spot lights without the need to add an extra switch to your handlebars. Fits neatly out of sight inside the headlight bucket.

Reading the other reviews, installation sounds excellent. I've been an Sr. electronic tech for over 30 years, so wiring should be a "no brainer".
