An absolute pain in the arse to install as the part doesn't entirely fit as expected. As other reviewers have noted, there's some good 'ol fashioned ingenuity required to get this to fit properly. Once installed, however, I'm quite happy with the look and quality. For the price I'm paying, I'd expect the instructions to look better than a photocopy of a fax from a ditto machine. Although it is a bit picy,it's much nicer then the wire hondaline one... However, the installation kit is horrible. I had to go to the hardware store for: nuts to mount the bracket to the seat, longer bolts to mount the bracket to the rack, and a shorter bolt to mount the rack to the fender. Instructions say to use same bolts on the passenger seat mounting with the new bracket but the nuts are welded to the bracket that I had to remove. The new bracket that was sent should have new nuts welded to the bracket. I had to use a new set of bolts and nuts to complete the installation. Went for this one rather than a "wire" rack to cover the lacing of the saddlebags. One warning is that it uses the same mounting holes as the stock pillion seat. When I put a Mustang seat on the bike I had to get creative with some baling wire to secure the front end to the frame of the bike. Probably will use plumbing strapping for a final fix. The bolts securing the rack to the mounting bracket are also short, very difficult to get it all together without a vise. Review Details  1 out of 1 members found this review helpful.
