Needed some extra storage capacity on the bike, so I got the luggage rack. Install was very easy. It took less than 1/3 hour to put it on. Nice quality chrome... Before installing the rack, I had relocated the inspection tag plate from above the license plate off to the side of the license plate (it took drilling a few holes in the plate metal and trimming some of the metal frame for the inspection tag). There is a clearance problem between the luggage rack and the inspection tag plate. Go to http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/rice45acp to see the tag plate above my license plate (before I put the inspection tag plate off to the side of the license plate) to see how high the inspection plate is located. The bike picture is pre-modified inspection plate... The inspection tag plate is a Texas state issue, so this problem may not apply to other states...

Much better than the OEM rack. Very satisfied with the look and quality. With a little coaxing, the unit goes on pretty easy. Follow the directions and you won't go wrong. Must buy the sidearms too.
