(3 stars) reviewed on 03/25/12 byOran Hollingsworth (hollingsworth) from Twenty nine Palms, CA, for a 2008, Black/Silver C109RT Boulevard wrote: Smaller than I thought, about an 1 in. around, 2.5 in. long. And it works.... kinda. Pain to program and it operates by using the speed and tach signal, not your actual gear shift. So as for it knowing what gear you're in at idle or coasting, it has no clue and jumps around. But riding down the road under normal conditions it show the correct gear. Wish the display came in another color instead of blue... Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(5 stars) reviewed on 06/01/11 byHawkmoon (wsheriff) from Centennial, CO, for a 2006 750 Shadow Aero wrote: Looks sweet and it works. You need to know the two wire colors in the harness feeding the speedometer panel. You need a wiring diagram of your bike. In my case it was Blk/Yel for the speed sensor and Grn/Red for the neutral. Tach hook up was easy since I already installed a Tach. Also you have to put it into learning mode. In my case it did not default to that mode. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

The manufacturer of this guage assumes everyone rides Harleys. I wouldnt trade my Yamaha for a Harley Ever. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 12/04/09 bypeter (peterjohn) from Brisbane, , for a 2007 Silver Metric Cruiser 750 Shadow Spirit C2 wrote: Installed on a 2007 Honda 750VTC2 Spirit mine is a fuel injected Australian model.Made the mistake of using the 2004-2008 wiring diagram from a Haynes Owners Service Manual which lead to connecting the PGR-1000 speed sensor white wire to the black / yellow 02 sensor wire in the wiring loom. On the Honda the speed sensor wire is black / yellow from the speed sensor but changes to a pink / green at the connector. I had excellent help from the Dakota Digital technical advice people. No more 2nd gear starts ,cruising at 100kph(60 mph)in 4th gear or trying to change into 6th gear which does not exist. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
